A Tote & Diaper Bag In One...

I enjoyed getting to make this for a sweet friend who is expecting her first next month!!!

My boys have these totes/diaper bags, and they're GREAT for Mother's Day Out, day care and just keep in the mini-van :) for on-the-go needs!!

Oh, and another plus...girls will likely use them as they grow into little ladies! :) They make great purses for their later years!

"Rhys-ent" Interests :)

Rhys LOVES to point out "Jeeps!" when we are out and about, so I absolutely delighted in getting to make him this fun applique today! I'm pretty sure this is my favorite piece yet!

Last weekend, Daddy loaded up the canoe and got Rhys his very own life jacket, planning for a boys' river weekend. I took advantage of another applique theme idea! Daddy even helped pick out the fabrics and thread colors!!

And we've had this navy t-shirt for a while, so I wanted to do something cute on it. Rhys enjoys playing with toy airplanes and can hear one comin' from miles away! So, I got busy with this fun applique, and he's already been wearing it to play dates and the play grounds!

Once these shirts are washed, the appliques' fabric edges will fray, creating a soft fringe. I can't wait to see how they turn out once washed and modeled the kiddos!! :)

A Sucker for Seersucker?

I enjoyed filling this order...the customer already had this cute pair of seersucker shorts...

We worked together to come up with this fun shirt to compliment it!

This was a fun project for a friend in need of a baby shower gift...

...which led me to make a train applique shirt for my own son for his 2-year-old birthday, which he wears and constantly says, "Train! Train! Train!" :)

This was also for Lucas...what a precious and handsome combination of color, fabric and style!
